4 England players who could miss the Rugby World Cup 2019 due to injury

The most awaited rugby tournament is not far away.

The England players are gearing up for the mega event that will take place in Japan this autumn and the fans are also getting excited to see their stars perform in the big stage, with a few for the last time, perhaps.

While some players are looking forward to the event to start, there are some that won’t be that lucky. Injuries are really frustrating for the players, especially when it happens before the Rugby World Cup, but hey, there isn’t much they can do about that.

Without much ado, let us look at the players that could miss the World Cup because of an injury.

1. Jack Nowell

Nowell sustained a nasty ankle injury for Exeter Chiefs in the Gallagher Premiership final against Saracens, which he has had surgery on. Exeter coach Rob Baxter has said that he should be fit for the Rugby World Cup, but he faces a race to be 100% match fit come the first game in Japan.
