5 foreign players who’ll be called-up by Eddie Jones for summer tour

These five have shown enough ability or promise to suggest they may be future England stars in waiting.

Foreign-born stars, such as Sam SUnderhill and the Vunipola brothers, have already shown how integral they can be for the Red Rose after making the step up to International rugby.

England’s three-match summer tour to North America is set to be relocated to this country because of the coronavirus crisis. Then they are scheduled to play the USA Eagles, Canada and Scotland.

It’s been revealed that England aren’t keen on travelling while restrictions in both the United States and Canada mean they are struggling to host games.

Here are five players who could pull on the white jersey this summer:

1. RATU NAULAGO (BRISTOL BEARS) – FIJI

The 28-year-old could become the next South Sea Islander to be given a chance to impress by England coach Eddie Jones. The Fijian, who is on an extended leave from the Yorkshire Regiment, joined the Bears on a two-year contract last summer and is England qualified. Naulago, who played Sevens for Bath and Saracens before joining Super League Hull FC, has scored seven tries for the Bears so far this season to get onto Jones’ radar.
