1. John Hardie – Edinburgh to Montpellier
The New Zealand-born returned from a three-month suspension for gross misconduct in January following allegations of cocaine use but learned soon after he wouldn’t be getting a new deal at Edinburgh. The 29-year-old, who has won 16 test caps, is nevertheless reportedly keen to escape the prying eye of the Britsh media and wants to move to France with ex-Scotland boss Vern Cotter ready to take him at Montpellier.
