Top 7 pairs of active twins in Rugby Union

We have seen many brothers play for different clubs in Europe be it the Vunipola brothers or the Hastings brothers.

However, here we look at the sets of twins in rugby that are currently plying their trade around the world.

Twins In Rugby:

1. Ben & Tom Curry

Since making their debuts in October and November 2016, the Curry twins, at only 20, have made a real impact in the Sale Shark world.

Tom has since established himself as an England regular while Ben has continued to impress for the England U20s.


2.  Dan & Jean-Luc du Preez

When Daniel du Preez ran on to the Stade de France pitch late in the second half of the Springboks’ narrow 18-17 win over France last October, he created a small slice of history.

By following twin brother Jean-Luc and father older brother Robert into the green and gold‚ the Du Preez family has a unique record.

It’s the first time in the history of South African rugby that three sons of a Springbok have played Test rugby.
