A true rugby legend is taking part in Soccer Aid tonight

We’re about to find out just how sweet Dan Carter’s left boot is, as he prepares for a move to the football pitch.

The All Black great has announced he will play for the World XI in the soccer aid charity match at Old Trafford in Manchester this evening.

It’s the game headlined by Olympic sprinting great Usain Bolt, and will feature the likes of Jose Mourinho on the touchline.

“Rugby? Football? It doesn’t matter. England, you’re going down.”

Carter will line up alongside the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Gordon Ramsay and Edwin Van Der Sar, while the English side boasts the talents of Robbie Williams, Mo Farah and Ollie Murs.

The match will raise money and awareness for Unicef.
