Andy Goode reveals which England rugby player should be axed

Sky Sports commentator Andy Goode has given his opinion on who he thinks will be dropped by Eddie Jones moving forward.

Quizzed on who could get the chop, Goode said: “That’s a very good question. It’s hard to answer.

“There’s some older players in the squad that perhaps he looks at. You’ve got to look at the England captain Dylan Hartley.

“Does he have enough in the tank in terms of going forward to the World Cup? Is his form good enough to be England captain? I don’t think it is.

“That’s where you have to look at the top first and that filters down.

“Ultimately we’ve missed Billy Vunipola massively. Our attack hasn’t been great but also with it we got absolutely destroyed at the breakdown.

“You have to look at that as well and there’s a lot of things to work on for Eddie Jones.”
