Following Saracens huge fine and relegation, there is another club reportedly under the microscope for breaches of the salary cap.
The reigning Champions Cup holders will be playing in the Championship next season after they were found guilty of ‘bending the rules’ to say the least.
Saracens “accepted” the relegation and “apologised for the mistakes made”
Saracens have been handed a 35-point deduction and fined more than £5m by Premiership Rugby after being found guilty of breaching salary cap rules.

The punishment came after a nine-month investigation into arrangements between Saracens owner Nigel Wray and the club’s players, including England World Cup stars Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje, Billy Vunipola and Mako Vunipola.
However, according to Neil Fissler from The Rugby Paper, now another major English club is set to be investigated, and it’s not Sarries.
Fans have quickly speculated online that it could be big spenders Bristol Bears or Sale Sharks after it was suggested ‘the club concerned are in the running to finish in the top four’.

The Rugby Paper’s report on a Premiership salary cap breach didn’t say it was a top 4 side. It just said they were in the running, so it could be nermous teams.

Hopefully we don’t have another cap saga after the mudslinging of the Saracens deal.

Neil Fissler from The Rugby Paper has reported today that another Premiership club is being investigated for ‘potential breaches of the salary cap’.
Let’s hope that, if found guilty, they receive the same treatment as Saracens.
