Autumn Nations Series, round 2: Five things you might have missed this weekend

On Saturday, England and Ireland were convincing winners against Tonga and Japan, while Wales couldn’t find a way past South Africa.

Scotland then edged past Australia on Sunday to complete what was another stellar weekend of international rugby. However, we’ve almost certainly found a couple of things you missed from the fantastic action…

#1. Johnny Sexton receiving a sword

Following his 100th cap in Dublin, Sexton was approached by Japan captain Lappies Labuschagne, who presented him with one of the iconic symbols of Japan, the samurai sword.

“You’ve been a great ambassador for rugby for a long time, representing your country for 100 caps is special,” Labuschagne said. “We want to present you with this”
