A week later on Sunday 20th August, Bath will head across the Severn Bridge to take on Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium (kick-off 14:00).
Dublin will host to the final game of Bath’s pre-season, as they face last season’s Pro 12 runners-up Munster at Donnybrook Stadium on Friday 25th August (kick-off 19:45).
Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder said: “The next six weeks are crucial in our preparation and having such calibre of opposition during pre-season, will set us up really well for our first competitive fixture of the year against Leicester at the start of September.
“Playing on the road will also give us the opportunity to ensure that our matchday preparation away from the Rec is fine-tuned, which is going to be essential heading into the new campaign.”
