Certainly past his best, Jones has hinted that Vunipola will have to earn his place to play for England again with Alex Dombrandt and Sam Simmonds both gunning for the number 8 shirt.
WOODWARD SAID: “I also want the sheer gas and dynamism of Sam Simmonds at No 8. He’s the best player in the Premiership right now.
“Eddie Jones will have to really work out what he wants from his No 8s going forward as he sorts out the talent available.”
