The 13-Test All Black will play for the southerners through to at least the end of the 2018 competition when his current contract with New Zealand Rugby expires.

He’s expected to then sign on for one more year at the end of 2018 to ensure he’s available for selection for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. After that, a move to Europe is likely.
