All Blacks’ winger Waisake Naholo has committed to another year with the Highlanders, despite reports linking him with a big money move to Europe.
The 26-year-old has been a revelation with the 2015 Super Rugby champions, scoring 30 tries in 37 appearances. The Highlanders and Naholo announced the re-signing on their Facebook page.

The 13-Test All Black will play for the southerners through to at least the end of the 2018 competition when his current contract with New Zealand Rugby expires.
He’s expected to then sign on for one more year at the end of 2018 to ensure he’s available for selection for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. After that, a move to Europe is likely.

Meanwhile, centre Malakai Fekitoa announced this morning he is off to play for French club Toulon.
