Bristol Bears linked with move for British and Irish Lion

Bristol Bears are reported to be looking to raid neighbours Bath Rugby for one of their England stars.

BristolLive has reported today that head coach Pat Lam has set his sights on the 40-cap international Jonathan Joseph.

This is the second time the outside-centre has been linked with the Bears after Rugby Inside Line said the deal could happen if Bristol avoids relegation.

He did not make the test team against the All Blacks during the British & Irish Lions tour in 2017 but played twice for the tourists, scoring one try.

In 2015 Joseph was voted the Rugby Players’ Association Players’ Player of the Year and England Player of the Year.
