Charles Piutau left the field 10 minutes into the second half during Bristol’s pre-season friendly against Connacht with his arm in a makeshift sling.
The All Black fullback had only come on as a replacement at the break before being forced off following an awkward collision.
We will bring you more information as we get it.
Seems like an early, injury-enforced exit for Charles Piutau with Bristol. Rough night.

He is English rugby’s first so-called £1million player – the speculated price tag put on New Zealand All Black Piutau following his move from Ulster to Bristol.
Piutau has the potential to be box office material on the west country club’s Premiership return and they will need him back to full fitness as quickly as possible.
Bristol have invested hugely in his talent, and he is unlikely to disappoint. A blistering strike-runner who offers options at full-back, centre or wing, his ability to carve up opposition defences is likely to be seen in all its glory.
