Great Britain’s 2016 Olympics silver medal-winning sevens team – where are they now?

Sam Cross (Wales) – The 27-year-old flanker joined Ospreys from Newport in 2017 and has since won two Wales caps for the senior international side.

Marcus Watson (England) – The then Newcastle Falcons speedster departed Kingston Park at the end of the 2016/17 season to join Wasps. Watson has claimed a number of memorable tries, including a first-quarter double at Bath Rugby in December 2017, and another sublime brace v Leicester Tigers in March 2019.

Mark Bennett (Scotland) – The international centre left Glasgow to join Edinburgh on three-year deal in the summer of 2017. His time in the Scottish capital has been hampered by injury, but he’ll be looking to be back to his explosive self.
