Bryan Habana is being hammered for his strange fantasy team

South Africa legend Habana has packed his team with Springbok heavyweights and opted for northern hemisphere flair in his backline ahead of Round 1.

Habana has selected six of the players he chose in his 2021 Team of the Series and one of those comes in the front row, with Tadhg Furlong his first selection at prop.

However, a couple of his selections caught fans off guard although It’s fantasy right? You don’t need the best team on paper, just the team that will net you the most points.

One fan wrote: “Lol not even Rennie or cheika would play Hooper at 8.”

“Only a Saffa would put Lawes at 7 lol,” commented a second

A third wrote: “He’s saying no to the main man Ardie Savea just to keep Australia happy with 1 guy?!’ Ardie would carve in this team,”

“Did nobody tell Bryan that Lawes is injured and not even close to playing?”
