Luke Pearce has been heavily criticised on social media after failing to award a red card against the All Blacks during New Zealand’s 52-11 win over France.
A double tackle on France wing Remy Grosso by two All Blacks players, Sam Cane and Ofa Tu’ungafasi, featured two offences.
Cane tackled Grosso around the neck and Tu’ungafasi made contact with his shoulder and head to the head of Grosso while failing to wrap his arms around the French player.
Pearce deemed the incident to be only a penalty.
