CONFIRMED: Edinburgh skipper stripped of captaincy

Edinburgh flank Magnus Bradbury has had his captaincy rescinded due to a disciplinary issue with the armband being given to lock Fraser McKenzie.

Bradbury had been suspended by the club pending an internal investigation after he fell and hit his head on a pavement while on a night out drinking.

The temporary ban resulted in him missing the recent win at London Irish but the suspension has now been lifted meaning he is available for selection at the weekend for Edinburgh’s clash with Benetton in Treviso.

Capped twice, Bradbury will no doubt be disappointed that he was not selected for Gregor Townsend’s 36-man squad for the November internationals na.med on Tuesday.
