CONFIRMED | Fans will return to Twickenham for Autumn Nations Cup finale

The RFU has confirmed they will donate 400 tickets to NHS workers as Twickenham will welcome the return of fans when England play their final match of the Autumn Nations Cup.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome 2,000 fans to Twickenham for the final Quilter International as part of the Autumn Nations Cup on December 6,” RFU chief executive Bill Sweeney said.

“This is an opportunity for us to operate a socially distanced event as a small step forward in our plans for the return of fans to stadia.

“The team will be thrilled to have fans supporting them in person along with the thousands that will be watching on Amazon Prime.

“Twenty percent of the seats for the game will be gifted to local NHS workers. The remaining will be for the players’ families, local rugby clubs, sponsors and around 1,000 seats will be on sale with prices starting from ยฃ75.”

LIST | The top 5 rivalries in world rugby ranked

Matches between rivals are some of the most enthralling on the calendar. But, what is the biggest rugby rivalry in the world?

We have put our necks on the line and attempted to rank them, from five down to one.

5. Georgia vs. Russia

Glasnost is put on the back-burner and though not a high profile as some Test matches, thereโ€™s very little love lost in the 18 games these two have played since their inaugural clash in 1993. It gets violent at times.

Before the end of the Soviet Union many of the early clashes involved team-mates but it didnโ€™t prevent frequent bouts of fisticuffs and to date Russia have just one win and 21 defeats to their name against the Georgians.

Games attract crowds in excess of 50,000 and with Russia ploughing more money into developing rugby, donโ€™t expect the rivalry to end any time soon. Keep an eye on this one!
