Lions chief Warren Gatland has ensured his place in history by overseeing a series win in Australia in 2013 and now this year’s drawn Test campaign against the All Blacks
But who will take charge of the Lions when they take to South Africa in 2021?
Gatland could complete the trio of Lions opponents by leading the tour and he suggested he could be interested in the idea while Eddie Jones has also suggested he’d want the role.
“My focus is on Wales looking towards the 2019 Rugby World Cup,” said Gatland.

“But if there is the opportunity for me to think about 2021, to do maybe the three as head coach, to win two and draw one wouldn’t be a bad achievement.”
