Dan Carter’s salary at Racing 92 revealed…
French club Racing 92 has hit back at criticism of hiring ageing star Dan Carter on a short-term deal that could be worth as much as £25,000 a month.
Carter rejoins the glamour Paris outfit as a medical replacement for their Springboks No 10 Pat Lambie who has been forced to retire because of ongoing concussion issues.
French paper L’Equipe reported that Carter will earn €30,000 (£25,000) per month and will receive the same bonuses as regular season players if Racing 92 win the European Champions Cup or French Top 14 titles.
The All Blacks great and double World Cup winner will be 37 when he plays for Racing 92 next month.
