England captain Dylan Hartley wants his side to be ‘clinical’ and ‘constant’ ahead of their NatWest 6 Nations opener against Italy on Sunday
Head coach Eddie Jones named his team to face to Azzurri which includes Exeter Chiefs’ Sam Simmonds at No 8 and Worcester Warriors’ Ben Te’o returning at centre.
“We want to be physical as a team, that’s rugby 101 where you need to be physical,” revealed Hartley, who will win his 90th cap in Rome.
“No-one’s a certainty.”

“We need to be clinical in terms of getting better as a team.
“This year is finding intensity and energy for a full 80 minutes and challenging ourselves to not have ebbs and flows, we want that constant intensity from the guys.”
Hartley added that the work behind their hard work behind scenes is one of the factors that allows players to thrive.
