England head coach Eddie Jones has recruited an old friend to his backroom staff to fine-tune their scrum in the build-up to the World Cup in Japan.
Marc Dal Maso previously worked under the Aussie and alongside Steve Borthwick with Japan at the 2015 World Cup and is renowned as one of the world’s finest scrummaging experts.
The Daily Telegraph has reported that he will join on a three-day-a-year contract but will provide further support in the form of video analysis from afar.
The former France hooker will link up with the squad for the first time before the autumn international fixtures against Argentina, Australia and Samoa.
