Eddie Jones reveals his one Rugby World Cup regret

England head coach Eddie Jones admits he should have made changes to his squad ahead of the World Cup Final against South Africa.

The Australian coach admits with hindsight he perhaps should have made changes to his squad ahead of the Yokohama final.

“If there’s one thing I could have done differently it was probably to have changed the selection a little bit.

“I continued to change selection from game to game [during the tournament] and probably in hindsight I should have refreshed the squad a little bit.

“I’m not going to talk about individuals but maybe I should have changed the order of 23. But it works when you win – that’s the great thing and when you win you have all the answers but when you lose you don’t.”

Jones will take charge of the Barbarians this weekend when they return to Twickenham on Saturday 16 November to face Fiji.

The game will be the first major rugby match to be staged in the UK following the 2019 Rugby World Cup, in which Jones will be hoping to lead England to their first global triumph since 2003.

Tickets are on general sale now from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/barbarians with a special early bird offer and 50 per cent off top price adult tickets for a limited time only.
