Ellis Genge blasts publication after they publish image of wrong mixed race player…AGAIN

England and Leicester prop Ellis Genge has blasted a number of publications after they mistakenly used an image of Lewis Ludlam instead of him in an article today.

The article, regarding Genge signing a new contract with Leicester Tigers, instead included an image of Northampton Saints back-rower Ludlam.

He tweeted: “So happy to see you’ve signed at tigers mate @LewisLudlam big call from you!”

Ludlam’s response was also brilliant.

This came just a month after the BBC did the exact same thing, ironically in an article discussing racial issues.

On that occasion, Genge wrote: “I’m actually fucked off with this happening to every mixed race/black sportsperson,”

Former England captain Will Carling also commented regarding the error, branding it shocking.
