Saracens player of the year Michael Rhodes has been in the form of his life and played a massive part in North London’s black and red revolution.
His stellar performances shaped Saracens’ title-winning season of 2015-16 and their back-to-back European cups.
The South Africa-born back-rower spoke to the Daily Mail about his international ambitions, and revealed that he is now ready to represent England when he becomes eligible next year:
“If England came calling, I would definitely be keen to get involved.
“They are really playing well and seem to be doing everything right. They are winning games and have a really strong, competitive team.”
“I would be delighted to be involved. It’s a great opportunity to play for an England side who are winning trophies all over the shop and playing really good rugby.”
