England and Lions star teaches kids how to play rugby at Thai orphanage

Taking some time off afer his exploits in New Zealand with the British & Irish Lions, Jonathan Joseph has done his bit to spread the reach of rugby union with a visit to a Thai orphanage.

“The visit to the Barnhem Muang Mai orphanage in Phuket has been really special,” Joseph said.

“The team here are brilliant and the welcome from the children was something else.

“They knew nothing about rugby when I got here so it was great to have a throw around with them and leave them with some kit.”

Joseph played three times on the Lions’ tour of New Zealand, scoring one try, although he was unable to force his way into the Test team.
