England player ratings vs Australia: Who starred against the Wallabies at Twickenham?

10 Owen Farrell: An imperious performance as we’ve come to expect from Farrell. Made his usual impact in attack an defence after a somewhat scrappy first half from England. The ultimate international rugby player, scored a well-deserved try late on. 9/10

9 Ben Youngs: A quiet game from the Leicester man, England hit another gear when he was replaced by Wrigglesworth. 5/10
1 Ben Moon: Part of a dominant England scrum which helped set up a raft of opportunities for the home side. 7/10
2 Jamie George: Found it difficult to assert himself but grew into the game in the final quarter. 6/10

3 Kyle Sinckler: Full of hard work throughout, stood up to the Aussies when the game was in the balance. One of England’s best on the day. 8/10
4 Maro Itoje:
Usual workmanlike performance, but needs to improve his discipline to kick on to the next level. 5/10
5 Courtney Lawes: Showed flashes of skill and ferocity in defence. Would have been a far closer result without his presence. 7/10
