England player ratings vs South Africa: Who was your man of the match?

Fly-half: Owen Farrell (co-captain) – Led England out and was one of the teams better performers, kicking perfectly from the tee to give Eddie Jones side a much needed narrow victory. Nearly cost his team with a late shoulder tackle. 8/10

Scrum-half: Ben Youngs – Kicked too much and his distribution was poor in the opening 40. Increased the intensity and looked like a different player in the second half before being replaced by Danny Care after 65 minutes. 6.5/10

Prop: Alec Hepburn – Struggled to front up to the Boks and was replaced by Chiefs teammate Ben Moon at the break. 5/10

Hooker: Dylan Hartley (co-captain) – Quiet in the loose but accurate on the line-out. It was one of his best games in an England shirt but he was replaced by Jamie George after 56 minutes. 7/10

Prop: Kyle Sinckler – His offside allowed Pollard to open the scoring. Struggled against the Springbok scrum and didn’t manage to make any of his trademark rampaging runs. 6/10
