England No 8 Billy Vunipola (Saracens) will return to London on Sunday after it was confirmed he re-fractured his arm during Saturday’s match against South Africa.
Vunipola was replaced by Nathan Hughes towards the end of the first half as England lost the second Test to South Africa.
The Saracens forward will be assessed further next week.
On Saturday evening it was confirmed Ellis Genge (Leicester Tigers) had travelled back to England following a knee injury picked up last week.
He will continue his treatment back at his club. Alec Hepburn (Exeter Chiefs) will join the squad on Sunday in Durban ahead of the third Test in Cape Town.
Prop forward Mako Vunipola (Saracens) has also travelled back to England for family reasons which were agreed ahead of the tour.
