Joe Launchbury picked up a knee injury during Wasps’ victory over Leicester Tigers and is out for at least two weeks.
Director of rugby Dai Young revealed the England lock suffered the injury during the 41-35 win at the Ricoh Arena, that will rule him out of the trips to Sale Sharks and Newcastle Falcons.
“It’s nothing too serious, he’s just rattled it. He’s had a scan but it’s nothing to worry about, nothing structual. He is probably going to be out for at least two weeks to give time for it to settle down.”
Young confirmed Launchbury had received an injection for the swelling and that his talisman should be back for Wasps’ European campaign and England’s Autumn internationals.
