England star limps out of training

England lock Maro Itoje has suffered a fresh injury concern after limping out of training ahead of their Six nations clash against Italy.

Itoje was performing a forwards drill when he grimaced in pain after stepping off his left knee and having fallen to the ground, he then limped off.

The injury was sustained in front of head coach Eddie Jones, who was feeding the forwards the ball as they ran towards the posts.

Itoje was replaced in the second half of England’s 32-20 triumph at the Aviva Stadium, where they inflicted Ireland’s first Championship defeat in Dublin in six years.

Fellow lock Courtney Lawes was also ruled out of the remainder of the Guinness Six Nations after sustaining a calf strain in England’s defeat to Wales in Round Three.
