Saracens have confirmed their pre-season schedule for the upcoming 2017/18 season.
The reigning European Champions return to training on Monday July 3rd at the Club’s training ground in St Albans, with non-international players returning to action after a well-deserved summer break.
In August, Saracens will be heading to the island of Bermuda for a week-long pre-season training camp from Sunday 6th August where they face the USA Islanders (a team including players of Tongan, Samoan, Hawaiian and Fijian descent) on Thursday 10th August in the Men in Black’s first pre-season hit-out.
After the trip to Bermuda, Saracens will face IPA Championship outfit Bedford Blues at Goldington Road on Saturday 19th August before hosting Global Network side Timisoara Saracens at Allianz Park on Friday 25th August in what promises to be a special occasion for the Club’s Global Network project.
Timisoara Saracens, who are the reigning Romanian league champions and recently competed in the European Rugby’s Challenge Cup in 2016/17 season, will travel to north London to face the back-to-back European Champions having previously hosted a Saracens Storm team in October 2014 narrowly beating Saracens’ second string 15-10.
Ticket details for all of Saracens preseason games will be announced in due course on saracens.com, the official Saracens Facebook Page, and Saracens’ Twitter and Instagram accounts.
In addition to the pre-season schedule Saracens will also be holding the annual Summer Gathering on Saturday 5th August.
