Every player has a dream to do well for his country at the Rugby World Cup.
However, from superstars who couldn’t find form, to players who just didn’t get a chance: they all feature in RUCK’s take on the home nations biggest disappointments in Japan.
SCOTLAND: Stuart Hogg
Poor. Did not look himself with multiple missed tackles and seeming inability to play himself into games. One incredible drop-goal didn’t save his tournament. However, I fully expect the Exeter speedster will bounce back and star in the Gallagher Premiership this season.
Unpopular opinion but Stuart Hogg is the most over rated player at the world cup, big games hes just AWOL. Maybe his move to Exeter will do him good.
