The Scotland fullback, who was captain of his country in this year’s Six Nations, was edged out of the Exeter side by Jack Nowell for the Premiership semi-final and final last month.
Hogg is set to be out of contract at Sandy Park in 2022 with early indications suggesting he could rejoin Glasgow Warriors ahead of the 2022/23 season.
