After signing a one-year extension last year, next summer feels like the right time for this one-club legend to hang up his boots.

HARLEQUINS: Marcus Smith

Bath have reportedly launched a huge move to try and sign Harlequins star, according to the Mail Online. The 21-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to Lyon in the Top 14, will be out of contract in 2021 when his current three-year contract comes to an end.

Smith, who currently earns £230k per season, is one of the most exciting prospects in world rugby could potentially double his earning to around half a million with his next move. Meanwhile, Danny Care and Chris Ashton are also set to be out of contract.


LEICESTER TIGERS: Jordan Taufua

The flanker has attracted the interest of Top 14 side Lyon, according to The Rugby Paper. The 28-year-old joined Tigers from the Crusaders in 2019 and has proved to be a big hit with Tigers supporters. He makes his comeback from a knee injury suffered towards the end of the 2019/20 season against London Irish today.. Meanwhile, experienced internationals Dan Cole and Tom Youngs are also reportedly out of contract.
