The reigning European champions have a number of England stalwarts in their squad, but they all fall behind Springbok legend Schalk Burger in the standings. USA winger Chris Wyles (54) and England fly-half Owen Farrell (52) are placed in second and third respectively.

Despite coming off the back of a dreadful season in France, O’Connor has joined Sale and is their most capped player.

Archbishop of Banterbury Haskell is miles out in front with Springbok full-back Willie le Roux miles back in second place. Haskell’s place in the national team, however, could be in doubt with promising flankers Tom Curry and Sam Underhill impressing in recent weeks.

Worcester Warriors: Peter Stringer (98 caps for Ireland)

A player its very difficult not to love, scrum-half Stringer tops the charts at Sixways with fellow countryman Donnacha O’Callaghan (94) just four caps behind.
