Exeter Chief’s team kit van was ‘clamped’ in Dublin on Friday afternoon ahead of their European Champions Cup clash with Leinster on Saturday.
This isn’t the first time a major sports team has fell foul of Irish parking law with Manchester United’s team coach being ‘clamped’ in Dublin in the summer ahead of their pre-season friendly against Sampdoria.

The Chiefs van was spotted illegally parked on Cardiff Lane near Grand Canal Quay, opposite the Clayton Hotel.

The van appears to belong to one of the team’s kit transporters, as the Chiefs have previously posted on social media praising their kit men for getting to Clermont in testing conditions on time in a similar van.
