Springbok playmaker Faf de Klerk has been enjoying his return to England after South Africa’s Rugby World Cup triumph.
The playmaker, who was instrumental in the Springboks’ World Cup final win over England earlier this month, jokingly taunted club team-mate Tom Curry, who had just spent a fortnight trying to forget about it all.
Curry explained to The Times that while sitting down for a team meeting on Tuesday, he felt something being draped over his shoulder and upon inspection he saw it was De Klerk’s World Cup winners’ medal.
“I don’t think he even said, ‘Hi’, he just put it there,” the England flanker revealed.
