France vs Italy player ratings as Fabien Galthie’s men started their 2022 Six Nations with a bonus-point win in Paris.
The Azzurri briefly threatened to derail France’s attempt at a first title since 2010 when debutant teenager Tommaso Menoncello scored to become the tournaments youngest ever scorer.
But Anthony Jelonch and Gabin Villiere crossed to put the hosts 18-10 in front at the break.
After the break, Villiere completed his hat-trick and Damian Penaud also crossed to secure the bonus point win that puts France top of the table.
