British & Irish Lions coach Warren Gatland had become a big hit on social media for a very different reason – and pleased his mother in the process!
Gatland is receiving a great deal of love from people around the world after giving up his business class seat on an aeroplane to help out a family who had been seated separately.
The woman was accompanied by her mother but she was seated in the economy section of the plane.
In true gentleman style fashion Gatland gave his seat to the grandmother and without any fuss went to sit quietly at the back of the plane.
