  • The Cherry and Whites then secured the bonus-point late on through Tom Savage
Gloucester secured a late bonus point victory, defeating the in-form Newcastle Falcons comfortably 32-6 at Kingsholm.

James Hook was one of the standout performers for the hosts, who have now won three of their last four matches in the Premiership.

The hosts were outstanding in the opening 40 and through tries from Bill Meakes, James Hook and Ross Moriarty, coupled with Hooks outstanding kicking gave they led convincingly 25-6 at the break.

In a dull second half, Tom Savage scored the all-important fourth try which helps Gloucester up to seventh, three points behind fourth-placed Northampton.

Meanwhile the Falcons are left looking nervously over their shoulder in 10th, despite a recent upturn in form.
