Gloucester forward attracting interest from Premiership rivals

Gloucester are struggling to tie down prop Fraser Balmain with two Premiership rivals ready to pounce for the tighthead-props signature.

According to The Rugby Paper, Exeter and Harlequins are targeting the 28-year-old with both sides potentially looking to replace England international tight-heads.

Quins forward Sinckler looks set to join Bristol Bears while Chiefs Harry Williams could be swapping places with Balmain to join Gloucester.

Balmain, who joined the Cherry and Whites from Leicester in 2017, will be free to talk to other Premiership clubs in the new year if he does not put pen to paper beforehand.

Despite being uncapped, Balmain featured from the bench in an uncapped England match against the Barbarians.
