3. Charles Piutau
During his season at Wasps in 2015, the All Blacks speedster was spectacular in his 23 appearances for the club. He was then nominated for the Aviva Premiership Player of the Season and was named in the Team of the Season.
He additionally scored a notable try in the 80th minute against Exeter Chiefs in the European Rugby Champions Cup quarter-final to help Wasps reach the semi-final.
4. Louis Picamoles
Undoubtedly Northampton’s best player during his one season (2016/17) in England, Picamoles was named Saints Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters Player of the Season – but apparently didn’t do enough to warrant a POTM at any point.
The Frenchman was also named in the Premiership Dream Team.
