Commenting on the news, Boyce added: “I’m really excited about joining Harlequins next season; they’re an excellent club with quality players throughout the team.

“The opportunity to be part of an exciting young English front row and work with Graham Rowntree was a big pull for me. Hopefully I can bring something to the team and develop myself at the same time.

“I’m massively grateful to everyone at Yorkshire Carnegie, especially those who’ve helped me develop through the Academy. I can guarantee I’ll be working as hard as I can for the rest of the season and hopefully push into the Championship playoffs.”
