Harlequins sign Super Rugby winner Beau Robinson

  • The 29-year-old arrives at the Club from NSW County Eagles
  • Robinson joins to act as cover for the injured Netani Talei
Harlequins have announced that they have signed Super Rugby winner Beau Robinson from the Queensland Reds.

The back-rower has joined Quins as dispensation cover after Fijian international Netani Talei sustained a significant knee injury earlier this season following his return from the Rugby World Cup 2015.

Confirming the news Harlequins Director of Rugby Conor O’Shea said: “We are delighted to able to bring in someone of Beau’s ability at such short notice. We are looking forward to welcoming him to Harlequins, helping him settle into London life and see him make a big impact for the Club for the rest of the season.”

Robinson then commented: “I’m excited to have joined Harlequins and to be presented with the opportunity to play alongside some world class players. I’m looking forward to helping the Club push for honours in both the Aviva Premiership and the European Challenge Cup.”
