Leicester Tiger’s new winger Jonny May has penned an emotional goodbye to Gloucester after leaving Kingsholm for Welford Road.
The move was confirmed this morning, and the winger wrote a lengthy post soon after to his 10,000 followers.
May thanked Gloucester fans for the last eight years:
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of making a special 8 seasons possible @officialgloucesterrugbyfor me…
“Coaches, teammates, friends, family, FANS, kit men, office staff, grounds men, physios, S&C, sponsors, management, owners… EVERYONE!
“I feel very proud and privileged to have worn the shirt.
“It’s a shame and has been a really tough decision but ultimately had to do what I thought was best for my rugby and me! 🔴⚪️#glawsfamily ♥️
