Jonny May told to stop worrying about North Korea – and fix Leicester instead

England winger Jonny May has been ordered to stop worrying about North Korea – and sort out Leicester Tiger’s problems instead.

May joined Tigers from Gloucester over the summer with Ed Slater going the other way- six months after declaring his ambition to “fix the situation” in the land of Kim Jong Un alongside international teammate Ben Te’o.

But despite scoring three tries in his first two games, Tiger has lost both and sit second bottom of the Aviva Premiership table.

Matt O’Connor has demanded it gets his undivided attention when Tigers face Gloucester at Welford Road on Saturday.

“Jonny’s got bigger issues than North Korea!” said the Australian.

“I wouldn’t worry too much about them. Let’s worry about Saturday.”

“We can’t afford to lose at home. We need to fix things that let us down last week. We need to do better across the board.”

Leicester’s gain is North Korea’s loss.
