Julian Savea has thanked fans for their concern after he flipped his car.
The former All Blacks wing flipped his car while driving after Toulon beat Perpignan in a French Top 14 match.
Just want to thank everyone for the messages and concerns about my accident, I am just very grateful that no one else was involved and hurt and that I made it home safely to my wife and daughter.

Savea’s wife Fatima brought the accident to the world’s attention by tweeting details of it and her relief he had not been injured. She also emphasised that Savea was simply tired and hadn’t had any alcohol, saying he had been sober for eight months.
Savea, a prolific points scorer for the All Blacks, had finally broken his try-drought in their 26-16 weekend win.
