The England scrum-half was linked with the role at Sale Sharks after his Saracens team opted to take relegation from the Premiership following the salary cap scandal. Wigglesworth has also been linked with a playing role at Trailfinders, who missed out on promotion to the Premiership once again.
Ben Spencer (Bath)
The Daily Telegraph reports Bath are poised to sign England scrum half Ben Spencer on loan next season with Exeter Chiefs, Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints also interested in the man who could be England’s future at nine.
