Here, RUCK. looks at five other players who left the World Cup early.
1. APHIWE DYANTYI (SOUTH AFRICA)
He was named in their squad but was thrown out after failing a drugs test. The 24-year-old was named World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year last year after scoring six tries in 13 appearances for the Springboks. Such a shame.null
2. DANNY BROUGH (SCOTLAND – Rugby League)
Scotland’s World Cup campaign has descended into chaos after three of their players – including their captain and star player – were sent home from the tournament for misconduct.
Scotland have sent captain Danny Brough & two of his team mates home from the #RLWC2017 . The trio were too drunk to board a flight. pic.twitter.com/UUVAqCUVIv
